  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1 3⁄4 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt (optional)


  1. Insert the stainless steel bowl into the Instant Pot®. Put all the ingredients inside.
  2. Put on and lock the lid of the Instant Pot®. Make sure
  3. the steam release valve is turned to “Sealing”. Press the PRESSURE COOKING function , at the HIGH pressure level , and set the time to 6 MINUTES.
  4. When finished cooking, press CANCEL and let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes. Then turn the steam release valve to “Venting”. Once all the pressure is released, open the lid and remove the quinoa.
