- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 cup of brown rice
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup of cold water
- Insert the stainless steel bowl into the Instant Pot® and pour in the oil. Press the SKIP functionality and set the time to 2 MINUTES . Add the rice and grain, stirring so that it does not burn.
- After 2 minutes, press CANCEL . Add the salt and water.
- Put on and lock the lid of the Instant Pot®. Make sure the steam release valve is turned to “Sealing”. Press the PRESSURE COOKING function , at the HIGH pressure level , and set the time to 25 MINUTES.
- When finished cooking, press CANCEL and turn the steam release valve to “Venting”. Once all the pressure is released, open the lid and remove the rice.
